WASP CITY — Before you watch this video, let's get something out of the way: I'm no expert in wasp removal.
But I'm not here to teach you how to remove wasps from your house. No, that's not what "Have You Seen This?" is for. "Have You Seen This?" is here to provide you with a fun video and be a short respite from your busy day and from the neverending deluge of non-fun news. So today I have this video for you, and yes, it's fun, and no, you shouldn't use it as a DIY for your own life.
The video shows what may just be the showdown of the year: wasps versus drone. They both fly, they are both kind of annoying (please don't hate me), and they both make buzzing noises while in the air and you have to look all over the place to figure out where the sound is coming from. You might think this matchup is pretty even.
So then what happens when someone uses their drone to try to take out a wasp nest? Spoiler alert: It's kind of a mess.
The video shows a guy using his drone to attack a wasp nest on his house. And even though by the end of the video he does manage to take out most of the wasp nest with the drone's little propellers, and sure, a few wasps were killed in the process, I have to say that this does not seem like a very efficient method for removing wasps.
For one thing, this can't be good for the expensive drone. For another thing, those wasps look super angry and a whole lot of them survived. While I would definitely not want to be in the immediate vicinity of this showdown while it was happening, I'll let you decide who is the true winner of this drone vs. wasp battle.
